Blair Borthwick is a multimedia artist based in New York City and Shelter Island, New York. Her work encompasses painting, drawing, collage and sculpture and is rooted in an exploration of our individual and collective wounding and art as a transformative practice. Borthwick’s work is channeled with a connection to our innate ability to metamorphose through the creative act. Her canvases are gateways of change; stepping into each portal, energy is transmuted. 

Borthwick holds a BA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Wharton School of Business and spent a decade in the corporate world first as a Principal in a strategy consulting firm, then in the role of Chief Marketing Officer for an international fashion brand. She then founded a successful private client jewelry business and immersed herself in fine arts, studying at Parsons School of Design, The New York Studio School and The Art Students League of New York. Borthwick’s work has been exhibited internationally.
